How do I activate the program?
Once you purchase you must activate your Unforgettable copy in order to convert it from a trial to a full version. Therefore, after purchasing you will receive an e-mail with subject "Thank you for buying Unforgettable". This e-mail contains your activation key along with your registration details.

Open the "Preferences" window and select the "About" tab. Copy/paste (to avoid typing mistakes) the registration details and your activation key in the proper edit boxes and press the OK button. If the information are correctly entered a "Program successfully activated" message will be displayed.

When I register the product will my reminders be preserved?

How do I see which version I have?
Goto "Preferences > About". The version number and build date are shown in the red box in the picture bellow.

How do I check for available updates?
You can either:
- Open the Reminders window. From the menu choose "Help > Check for updates", or
- From the "Preferences > About > Check for updates" link.
Unforgettable, will connect to the internet via the Versions Updater utility and will inform you if there are any major or minor updates.

Do I have to purchase again every time a program upgrade is released?
No. You purchase only once. The purchase includes a lifetime license to all future upgrades of the program. Remember to check for updates regularly.

How do I install a program upgrade without loosing my reminders?
The correct procedure to install the latest upgrade (and keeping your previous reminders) is:
- Close Unforgettable from the tray icon.
- Install the latest upgrade, overriding the previous installation in the same installation folder.
- Launch Unforgettable again.

Are my data safe?
Yes. Your reminders are saved in a file (Unforgettable.dat) in Windows' "My Documents" folder under the "Unforgettable" folder. Additionally, a backup file (Unforgettable-001.dat) is saved every one hour in Windows' "My Documents" folder under the "Unforgettable\Backup" folder.

Which files do I need to backup?
If you still want to make your backup, all you have to do is to backup the "My Documents\Unforgettable" folder. This folder contains both the latest data file and the last hour's backup file.

How do I restore a backup?
- Close Unforgettable.
- Open windows' "My Documents" folder.
Inside the "Unforgettable\Backup\" folder there are several backup files stored.
"Unforgettable-001.dat" holds the latest backup and the backup files of the form "Unforgettable.dat.DD-MM-YYYY" hold the backup of the DD-MM-YYYY date. - Copy any of the data backup files to "Unforgettable" folder as "Unforgettable.dat".
- Launch Unforgettable.
- You backup data are restored.

How many reminders can I add to the program?
In the trial version you can add 25 reminders. Once the program is purchased and activated to a full version the number of reminders you can add is unlimited.
Support
I sent you an email to request support, but I haven't had any response.
We reply to all email requiring for support with priority to the registered users. Common reasons why you did not get an answer are:
- Your email spam filters have blocked our answer email. Please check your email blocking rules.
- You have mistyped your email address. Please check the email address.
- Your email was blocked by our email filters. Please resend your question.

How do I send you a screenshot of a technical problem that I see?
A picture is worth 1000 words, they say. If you see something is wrong with the program, press the "Print Screen" button on the keyboard.
You have now placed a screenshot in the clipboard.
You can now go to Microsoft word or to Microsoft Paint (Start >Accessories >Paint), PASTE the image in a new file and send that file to us.

How do I force the software to record its activity into the LOG file?
By following the simple steps:
- Open the reminders window.
(double click on the tray icon or from Windows' start menu choose "Programs > Unforgettable > Unforgettable) - From the main menu choose "Help > Enable log".
(a check mark will be placed in the left of this menu item)
From now on the software's activity is recorded inside the LOG file. When the problem occurs close Unforgettable and attach the LOG file "Unforgettable.log", located in your desktop, in an e-mail and send it to us.
